Volunteering at our Bethesda community has a long and proud tradition. Bethesda welcomes people who are willing to share their time and talents as a volunteer. Here are some of our areas of need that may appeal to your spirit of service:

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Musical Entertainment
  • Baking and special ethnic meals
  • BINGO
  • Playing cards and other games
  • Engage in activities with individuals or groups 
  • Clothing mending and sewing alterations
  • Gardening
  • Delivery of mail
  • Decorating
  • Letter writing
  • Manicures
  • Participation at church services
  • Sharing of musical talents
  • Shopping trips
  • Special events
  • Walking
  • Visiting
  • Reading newspaper or other publications to residents individually or as a group
  • Someone to present and discuss topics that men would enjoy such as farming, fishing, hunting, old cars, etc. 
  • Sharing travel experiences with photos and dialogue
  • Etc.

 

Our dynamic group of volunteers come from all stages and walks of life. They include school children, teenagers, college students, retired individuals, resident's family and friends, service clubs, youth organizations and other agencies or interested individuals. We welcome you to join us as we work together to make life here at Bethesda, an exceptional lifestyle!
